This is a great tool for students to guess the equation that the bird will fly to hit the pig. It can be linear or quadratic.
You can also demonstrate the application online at http://chrome.angrybirds.com/
The application shows the path the bird took to hit the pig.

We are starting to use the TI- Nspire calculators in the classroom and I have been looking for documents to get the kids hooked on this technology.
This is a great method for having them learn how to drag these equations to create one that works while learning about both types of functions.
I love that the N-Spire can allow you to manipulate by actually moving the equations and with the backdrop of the Angry Birds the students are that much more invested.
