In the "Real World" Problem-Solving Slope
This is an activity my partner and I created to use with our text (Pacemaker Algebra 1). We used it as a cooperative group activity to show how slope can relate to the "real world".
The file includes several examples and practice problems from the text. They can be used without the text. Both microsoft word and pdf files are available.

This is a nice ready to use lesson. It has an example, try it problem and 5 additional practice problems nicely formatted. It is designed to give students practice on a specific skill, finding the slope from a real world situation. Mark this as a favorite.
