Good Morning,

Here's a thought... this was brought to my attention by someone at my table during our A4A session, yesterday.

The class was looking at story problems for the equation
3x - 4 = 30.

One story problem was...
You have a $30 gift card @ Starbuck's and have spent $4 already. How many more coffee's can you buy (assuming at $3 a cfe).

Problem with this scenario is... once you start solving for x...
3x = $34... it appears the story SHOULD read...
You have a $30 gift card @ Starbuck's and have $4 IN YOUR POCKET. How many more coffee's can you buy (assuming at $3 a cfe).
