Get Inspired with the TI-Nspire
T3 Chicago 2012, Presenter: Claudia Heinrich
The presentation documents include an introduction to using the TI-Nspire designed for students along with a short guide for students to create and save documents. I have TI-Nspire documents on linear inequalities, slope, domain & range, quadratic functions and absolute value functions. The Nspire documents are supported by student pages that I have created and found to be successful with my Algebra classes. All of the documents are in a word format, ready to use. They can easily be modified to fit the needs of your students.

Number Sense, Reasoning and TI-73/83/84 - A Natural Partnership!
T3 Chicago 2012, Session #189, Presenter: Judy Wheeler
Let’s go golfing, fishing and play football! The presenter will share several programs, games and activities that she has created for the TI-73/83/84 that encourage the development of number sense and logical reasoning. Some of the activities utilize the power of the Navigator; most do not. Participants will learn how easy it is to use TI-Connect to install the programs onto handhelds to use in their classrooms. (Grades 4-7)
TI-73/83/84: Fantastic Instructional Tools for Grades 6 & 7 Common Core
T3 Philadelphia, 2013, Session #304, Presenter: Judy Wheeler
The presenter will share several of her programs, games, lessons and teaching strategies she developed that align well with the Common Core Content Standards for Grades 6 and 7 and the Mathematical Practice Standards. The TI-73 graphing calculator will be used, but most all of the activities execute similarly on the TI-83 and TI-84. The Navigator will be used in the background but most activities are not dependent upon that technology. To cover more activities, this session blend some demonstration/lecture with hands-on engagement.
