About Me

Hello. I am an instructional designer for Michigan Virtual University. I was on the team of people at MVU working on the design and creation of the online versions of the Algebra for All training as well as this social networking site. As a former math teacher I have very much enjoyed being part of this project.

Feel free to send me a message or write me a comment if you have any questions, problems, or concerns as you work on this site. You can also email me at dyoung@mivu.org.

During the summer sessions we did an activity where we used the jigsaw method to find our "matching team" according to what the directions that were given... This was a matching activity with various parent functions represented, with transformations, some had a table, some had a verbal model, some had the equation..... THIS activity is NOT in the DOCUMENTS or under the A4A year 2 headings. Can you please get this activity and have it posted? THANKS!
