I completely relate to this video!!!  I have also found that most of my students are not "patient problem solvers."  I would also assert that many are not skilled in the art of problem solving period and do not see the connection between their lack of math skills and the correlation to their lack of problem solving skills.  I find it very interesting that at increasing numbers, employers are looking for employees that have high capabilities of problem solving and that is one of the top skills are young people are lacking.  They are the "instant gratification" generation.
